Fun island to take 17 year olds
We are looking for a good trip during Thanksgiving break to take our 17 year old daughter and her friend. We are considering an island but are open for suggestions. We want to go to Mexico because it is easy for us to get to (out of Little Rock, AR) but she has been there many times and wants to experience something different. Looking for suggestions! Thanks!

What do you, your daughter, her friend and others (if any) in your party like to do?
How many people besides you, your daughter and her friend are in your party - how many rooms will you require?
How long a trip are you planning - 4 days, 5 days a week?
What type of budget do you have for accommodations and airfare?
Islands in the Caribbean have many of the same types of activities as tourist places in Mexico so what exactly do you mean by wanting to "experience something different" - different from what????

I agree most islands have the same activities as Mexican tourist spots. She has just been to Mexico all of her life and wants to go somewhere different. I think we have decided not to listen to a 17 year old and take her to Cabo San Lucas! Mexico here we come!
