3 ladies, 50 plus are planning a summer adventure to the islands. I'm using an RCI exchange, but need to know the places that are least expensive to fly into. We enjoy the nightlife, but mingling with the natives and experiencing the culture is important. Beaches are mandatory. Any suggestions?
fun and reasonable

It sounds like that you should look at Cancun in Mexico. It offers night life and a culural experience if you want to visit some Mayan ruins. Even a tour from Cancun to Chichen Itza and Merida would be a wonderful experience for you all. You would be closer to real Mexico in Merida including the conquest of Mexico by Cortez. You will never mix anywhere easily with real natives in any resort area as they cannot afford to be there except as a way to make a living.
