From St. Martin (SXM) to Anguilla (Cuisinart)

Trying to get an idea of how much money and how long the ferry is.
I see public ferry from Marigot to Blowing Rock (taxi, ferry, taxi)
or BG Express from Airport Harbot to Blowing Rock.(ferry, taxi).
Has anyone used BG Express. Thanks

It's been a while but I seem to recall the ferry costs about $15US PP each way plus $5US Departure Tax. The trip between Marigot and Blowing Point takes about 20 minutes. Taxi from PJIA Airport to Marigot is about $12US.

It's actually the GB Express and, yes, I have taken it and others. There are a number of choices from the airport to Blowing Point and you should consider your schedule when booking. Here's an excellent link to the current boats (these are in addition to the public ferry which leaves from Marigot):

I did it last February from Marigot - and RoamsAround price seems about right. It takes 30 (ish) minutes max......also - there was a guy named Nell.....the ferry people/even custom people will know him - he rides the ferry pretty much daily if you go on one of the 1st ones..... His sister makes these great tarts.....he runs a taxi business on Anguilla - he is fabulous.....and very trustworthy and reasonable.....he'll take you to where you want to go and then come back for you hours later.....he may even stop by his sister's and get you a tart (if she made them that day)...He took us to Elodia's where we rented beach chairs - ate in a nice restaurant etc - then if you walk down the beach - if facing the ocean - go right on the beach - the beach has a bend in it - follow the bend and you'll end of at Gwen's - a GREAT place to eat - and right next door is this place where you can get a massage - you'll see it if you walk to Gwens - the beach is GORGEOUS!...it's on shoal bay east.

Hi BellaClaire, just wanted to let you know that Gwen's burned to the ground last month (propane fire in the kitchen -- all gone). They are however rebuilding and serving a limited menu in the interim. Also, the public ferry is great but you have to factor in the taxi from the airport & traffic is sometimes a HUGE problem which is why we have on occasion taken one of the private boats from the airport (but for most of our 2 decades, we have been on the Marigot ferry).
