Hi guys.
My wife and I are planning our first trip to Cuba. We are both from Brazil and are very familiar with warm tropical waters. Unfortunately the waters in Brazil are a bit murky and my number 1 requirement for this trip is to find crystal clear waters. We have never been to the Caribbean before.
So, is there a time of the year when the waters down there are not so clear?
Thanks a brunch.
From Canada to Cuba. Are the waters always crystal clear?

Sorry for the typo. I must be hungry. =)

Is your best bet...
Cuba is a big island with lots of river/mud run off
so like Brazil waters can get murky especially during
rainy season...
Small out islands without rivers best in winter when less rain

Best for crystal clear waters for me...
Have fun,

I've only been to Varadero once and the waters were not clear but that was due to stormy weather. My daughter has been several times and the water was clear, apart from the weather it seems to also depend on which part of Varadero beach you are on, as some parts seem to be nicer than others.
Santa Clara and Guardalavaca are both beautiful with crystal clear waters (I was there in March). Check you tube videos.
hello,
i have been to cayo largo in cuba the beach from my hotel wasn't that great, however they took us to a different beach 10 minutes from the hotel and the water was so beautiful...it was incredible....
