We saw Fountain Beach Hotel online & emailed them for info, and the owner (?) sent back rates and a request for a deposit. Now on this board I see that you all say it closed 2 years ago. If this guy/owner is being unscrupulous, who do I report it to? I don't want anyone to be taken advantage of. Are you sure it is still closed? Maybe it reopenned? We just emailed him in August. He was very polite and described the ammenities in the rooms, ect. I'm confused! Thanks for your help!

I would call the Anguilla Tourist Board and ask if Fountain Beach is under new management
when I walked past it in January the place was definately in disrepair and not opened
but who knows? someone may have bought it and opened it up for business
what is the website? is the phone no Anguilla or US?
I read all the bad reports on that place before/after/when they closed and a few people got ripped off..

There are both US and Anguillan phone numbers. We are not even considering going there now, with all this confusion. (Still going to Anguilla, May, 2003) I'm just concerned about other travelers who aren't on this board and are unaware of the circumstances. I would hate for someone to be ripped off because I didn't do anything to protect them. We found the site from a search engine, google I think, and it seems recent. Thanks for your input.
