Flying costs from east coast to Anguilla, Turks and Caicos and Cayman

hello all,
so i'm looking at flights from east coast (more specifically nj) to anguilla, turks and caicos, and grand cayman.
goodness! they are all around $600. should i wait a little longer (it's for trip in may/june)?
do those prices go down or is it standard cost for those islands?
thanks in advance.

Wait!

That's offseason that you are traveling.

We flew to both Anguilla and Provo for the $375-400 range from Raleigh.

We did a bit better by booking a package (air/room) with our travel agent. Also, you may want to wait awhile - prices have come down from what they were in October.

We went from the DC area in November for under $500 round trip ($428 for the ticket & then various taxes/charges).

oops -- I meant to say we went to Anguilla but flew into St. Martin & took the ferry over. The fares to SXM are usually quite a bit cheaper than flying to Anguilla.

For Provo you might look into Us Airways via Charlotte. Might be cheaper than American via Miami.
For anguilla a lot of people from the NJ. NY area fly via St Martin as it is a direct flight and usually cheaper than going AA via San Juan. Check out Continental. We did Anguilla last month via St Martin and it worked well. You take a cab to Marigot and a 20 min ferry ride to Anguilla. Actually it was about $500 R/T from Orlando but you don't get any deals out of Orlando to the Caribbean. Still cheaper than AA.

howardc...thank you.
i'm looking into flying to st. martin. i like the idea of a direct flight (flying to anguilla would mean a stop-over for us). i presume the airport is not a far ride from the dock in st. martin?

It was about a 20 min cab ride and I believe was $15 or $16--I gave the driver $20 to include tip. Time depends on the traffic. Roads are very narrow. As I recall there is a $2.50/person departure tax from St Martin and the ferry is $10 each. If you e-mail me I can direct you to another Anguilla forum which is very active and informative.
