My husband and I and another couple vacation together every year. We've always gone to Flordia, but have decided to go a little further south in March 2000. Our goal is to find a relaxing, beautiful, tropical island with a good beach (we're sun lovers) and would prefer an all inclusive trip. I've heard that Jack Tar is a good place, and not too expensive. Does anyone know if they offer 2-bedroom accommodations and what they're like if so. Any comments would be appreciated and general information is welcome. Thanks in advance.

I just returned from the JTV in St. Kitts and I don't believe they offer any 2 bedroom suites. However, I'm sure you could request rooms beside each other.
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to St. Kitts and would highly recommend it.
We went to JTV in St. Kitts several years ago and felt it was a good value for the money. The golf course is right next door which pleased my husband. The food was satisfactory (mostly buffet) and the evening outdoor entertainment was fun. The rooms were moderate but clean. Not sure if they have two-bedroom units. The resort is not right on the beach. You must walk across the street and down a path to the Atlantic beach which was too rough for swimming when we were there (Jan) and you can walk (about 15 minutes) or take the shuttle bus to the Caribbean beach which wasn't too pretty but I think it has been improved since we were there. Basically, I found the resort to cater to golfers, not beachers. There were two pools, one of which was the "quiet" pool; that was nice. The island is more green and lush than places like Aruba. The terrain is quite beautiful. There are some nice beaches if you don't mind taking a cab to them. Hope you have a great time. Feel free to e-mail me with other questions but I think the person who replied before me may have more up to date information.
