Find me an Island for December that is warm

I wanted to go to Bermuda but tickets are crazy priced!
Then I thought why Bermuda? Just because it is breathtaking? Who needs that?
So I am looking for the islands closest to US as possible with around 80 degree weather in December. Is there any?

Have you considered the USVI? St. Thomas would be the closest with the weather you are looking for? Even St. Martin or St. Kitts.

How about St. Lucia or Barbados. They are quite aways south. I haven't been to Barbados, but have been to St. Lucia and it is simply beautiful. Another wonderful island is Antigua.

Also, here is a website for statistical weather averages for each month for just about anywhere. Just type in the island you want in the window and go from there.

Several islands are extremely pleasant that time of year. Grenada, St. Lucia, Barbados and the USVI and BVI.

Depending on how far you want to travel, Hawaii is also wonderful that time of year.

Just about anywhere in the Caribbean is warm enough in December because the ocean takes a good part of the winter to cool down. Just avoid the Bahamas (not technically in the Caribbean).

I was in Anguilla last year mid-Dec and felt that it was almost TOO hot. I would have liked it a tad cooler. Funny eh?

Try www.weatherbase.com for statistical weather information on just about any place in the world, including all the major and most minor Caribbean Islands.

A Traveller, Thanks for posting that statistical weather averages site. That is the site I meant to post in my prior post, but didn't. Duh! quot;>

Hands down Grand Cayman! One hour from Miami or Ft Lauderdale, great airfares from low-cost carriers like Spirit. Must have a passport now, but you still have time to get one. Great weather, very sophisticated island, lots of things to do and great restaurants.

My vote is for St. Kitts. www.discover-stkitts-nevis-beaches.com

When in December? They have Carnival & J'ouvert the end of the month.

Space fills up quickly over the holidays.

Thanks but it is St.Thimas in April now.
Tickets prices are ridiculous! Where to find non-stop flight for a decent price?
From Philly.

I checked Orbitz for mid-April, and they show about $500, mid-week departure, one-stop.
