Ferry from SXM to Anguilla

We are leaving for our honeymoon to Anguilla in January. Can somebody please provide me a few options of private ferries to take from SXM to Anguilla? Thank you!

Go to www.anguillaguide.com & look under Private Charters to SXM Airport. There are links to a couple of them.

If you are staying at a hotel, they can
arrange a private charter--they use the same services. Cap Juluca has its own private boats.

For private charter (a little over $300) I use Gotcha, who you can arrange by calling Garfield at 264-235-7902. For a shared boat shuttle ($60 ro so)you can contact Funtime Charters. Contact info is on www.funtimeai.com.

The regular ferries are easy and frequent, running pretty much like buses. You can buy your ticket at the dock in Marigot, just by the open market.

Remember to keep your immigration card for your departure, other wise you get bawled at.

We used funtime last trip. Very convenient, just walk across the street from the airport. You can sit and have a drink & relax if you have short wait. Getting to Marigot for the ferry is time consuming. You could end up sitting in traffic if you get there during rush hour. The extra money is well worth it in my opinion.
You can arrange funtime via email too.

I was thinking of visiting a grocery store on St. Martin before catching the ferry to Anguilla. Are there any grocery stores located near the dock at Marigot? Especially a store carrying the French cheeses and some other wonderful snacks?

You could go to Match in Marigot, but there is also the old Food Center (can't think of what it's called now...maybe Rams?) just on your left before you enter the French side of the island. You could always stop by both easily in order to get everything you need since both have different items (one is on the Dutch side and one is on the French).
