Favorite Anguilla Restaurants

Returning to Anguilla for the 3rd time. Dining at Coba, Blanchard's Beach Shack and Pimms for a special celebration. Need to pick one more great meal- an evening out with friends- so nothing super casual. None of us loved Veya. Thinking maybe Straw Hat or Jacala? Would love thoughts and any other suggestions?
TIA!

We loved both Jacala and Straw Hat. Close call. Our group also did not care for Veya. I don't think you could go wrong with either. Maybe check menu selection and make a call. Both are on meads bay and have good ambiance.

Straw Hat, Dolce Vita or Barrel Stay. Mango's good too.
Pimm's has new chef and menu, please post after you've been there to let us know how it is

In order, Jacala, Blanchards and Mangos. Straw Hat is great too, but not quite as special as the other three.

Hi all, we are back from our vacation and just wanted to give you a quick review of our restaurant choices. We had dinner at jacala (absolutely wonderful), Coba (very, very good), Tramonto (good) and Pimms for Valentine's evening. Pimms didn't have our reservation and didn't have our friend's separate reservation. I showed the hostess my confirmation email from their concierge. They accommodated both our parties, but dinner was exceedingly slow. I am sure they were overwhelmed as something must have gone wrong with their reservation system and they probably weren't expecting so many tables. The food was generally good, not amazing. The servers tried their best, but dinner was way too slow, even for valentine's night in the Caribbean.

We had lunch twice at Straw Hat- each time excellent.
