I have heard some great things about Starfish Trelawny in Jamaica. Moderately priced with good food, great beach and plenty of kid's activities. Easy to get to from anywhere in the US, as well. Assuming you are traveling from the US, of course.

When do you plan on going, and what is the maximum you are willing to spend? I just booked Starfish Trelawny for 7 nights for under $2000(resort only), on their Fall Getaway special(starts mid August). I have a 3 and 5 year old and was hoping for Beaches, etc., but they want over $5000 for the same time, which was way over my budget. It only lists the resort as a 3 star, but I have read alot of great reviews, and figured for the price, I couldn't go wrong.

Hi,
Beaches Resorts are wonderful and if you travel during the off-season, you can get some amazing discounted rates.
However, most of the resorts throughout the Caribbean offer an all-inclusive plan, as well as the regular plan without meals. I often tell people that the upfront price on all-inclusives can be a shock, but you will not have to take out credit card or money for the entire trip. Other than shopping, special excursions or souvenirs, you can leave your credit card at home.
I have had many return visitors to the Sunscape Resorts and Dreams Resorts, located in Dominican Republic and Mexico primarily. Reasonably priced, great kids activities, all-inclusive, upscale, newer resorts. Sunscape are very reasonably priced - about $1000 per adult for 7 nights, all-inclusive accommodations, airfare and taxes and fees for June.
Have a great day!
