We are looking for a fabulous all inclusive resort for a family trip in late August. Happy to pay more for a fantastic resort with loads of amenities. It needs to have great night life for the 2-21 year olds and scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing too. We love great food and wine which seems to be impossible to get, even if we are willing to pay extra, when going to an all inclusive. One family traveling from San Diego the other from Orlando. Any suggestions?

Trip Ideas
Look into the Beaches Resorts (T&C, Negril). Very fun resorts for the kiddies and great beach on both resorts for the adults activites.
I'm actually not certain about the inclusions of scuba and fishing, but Spice Island Beach Resort on Grenada definitely qualifies as fabulous and it offers very good food. I've never stayed there, but I've dined there on a few occasions and was always very impressed with the quality and presentaion of the food, not to mention the service.
I've never been there, but I recall reading that Curtain Bluff on Antigua has a fabulous wine cellar and also includes scuba diving in its nightly AI rates.
SusanKay2222, I don't know if you've looked into the Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort in St. Lucia yet but, my 4 kids love it. I always looked for an all-inclusive cause it's so much easier & cost effective too. We always went away for spring break & have been to lots of islands. This by far was their favorite. We've been there 6 times & it's heaven!
Barcelo Palace in Mayan Riveria! Recently returned and the 20-15 year olds loved it! You can't go wrong with this one!.
Do not forget about the Palace Resort chains in Mexico. I sponsored a group of 14 there (Riviera Maya) and cannot say enough great things about the service, food, accommodations and overall experience. It is difficult to please so many people, but everyone raved about that resort! Just keep in mind that some resorts in the Palace chain are adult-only, so just be sure you look at those that are children-friendly. You will not be disappointed!!
Hi,
I would suggest Dreams Resorts in Mexico or in various locations around the Caribbean. Great value, beautiful resorts, lots of activities. The Dreams in Cabo San Lucas is amazing.
Best Regards,
Julia
I'll second the Barcelo. We stayed at the Colonial/Tropical last year & are going again in a couple of weeks. Entire family including our 3 kids (8,11,13) voted it best vacation ever...better than Disney!! Lots to do or nothing at all. Great beach with good snorkeling right at resort. http://www.unofficial-barcelo-maya.com/site/
