I'm thinking of holidaying in Varadero Cuba the first two weeks of January. Could anyone tell me what kind of temperatures I should expect during the day and evening?

hi jennifer...cuba in january is a gamble...BUt if it is the only time you can go...it is ok unless the weather is really cold up north. As they say, when the fridge door is open...I was in cuba for the first time from january 17th to 23 in 1994...Not a el Nino year...it was -50 degrees in Montreal...22-23 degrees celsius in Varadero...Cuba weather is much like FLorida's...although a bit warmer...When it is cold up here, they get what they call "frentes",. cold fronts from the north...but it can still be confortable...You might consider the south coast of Cuba (Santiago) or even Cayo Largo...This beautiful country is worth seeing... and when it is not so hot, it is a gooud time to visit..I strongly suggest Havana, Santiago and Trinidad.

Hi, we were in Varadero mid December last year and the weather was great. Mostly sunny and hot, there were a few clouds but no complaints on weather.
