driving on the other side of the road

Hi
I understand on T&C they drive on the other side of the road, which sort of makes me nervous. How difficult is it to adapt and should you get a car with the steering wheel on the right instead of the left?
Thanks so much.
Theresa

i actually find it easier to drive on the left. the roads on provo are good, not crowded, well marked and max speed is 45. the roundabouts are different but just watch how others drive through. i prefer a car with steering on the normal side, which i think all or most are anyway.

Grace Bay Car Rentals is the only one with steering wheel on the right, all others have steering on the left.

It's easy to drive in Provo, all roads are flat and mostly straight, not like other islands that are hilly and curvy. It's like driving the "passing" lane on a highway.

The hardest part? When you do your signal turn, you sometimes do the windshield wipers instead! ;-)

It's not as bad as it seems. After a day you'll be used to it. I recommend getting the steering wheel on the left if that is what you drive at home. It's part of the island experience so take your time and enjoy it !

I, too, think the steering wheel on the left is easier since that is what I'm used to. The hardest part for me is turning into a parking lot. I have to remind myself to stay left. Simply driving on the left is not that difficult. Don't stress about it. You'll do fine.
