My family and I are going to Dominica in February for 10 days. My kids are 5 & 8 and are very active and enjoy the outdoors. What hikes, snorkling, beaches, and activities would you suggest? Any suggestions would help - thanks

How lucky for you, we loved Dominica and definitely want to go back since we were there only 4 days. Check out Ken's Hinterland Adventures. We did the Boiling Lake with them (not recommending this, definitely the toughest hike I've ever done, and we lived in Colorado for several years and do tons of Rockies hiking). The next day I was toast, so we did the TiTou Gorge and a waterfall with them where we found a hot spring - beautiful, mild adventure, and required no brainpower for us. On our own we went down to Soufriere, rented a kayak (the place was right by the bay), kayaked maybe 20 minutes up to Champagne reef for snorkeling (not many fish but the bubbles were neat), and then kayaked back to Scotts Head for some super snorkeling. Have a great time!
we had a great time on the hikes too
the indian river will be enjoyed by all at portsmouth too
