Dolphin House, Nevis

Hey,
I've been looking at cottages/villas on Nevis (previous discussion), and have just spotted another possiblity on the Nevis1 website- Dolphin House. It looks good - great price, proper house (I mean with different rooms), a really nice looking pool and not too far from the beach. Altho' no AC.
Has anyone stayed there or does anyone know anything else about it?
Thanks again,
Anna

Unless you go in the winter (and I think you said you're going in June - and June is relatively hot and humid on Nevis), and unless you're planning on staying way up on the mountain, you'd be wise to heed the caution about not having AC.

thanks - i appreciate the advice - i don't want to be tempted by nice pics into making a decision we'll regret when we're there. Living in london, we're not so used to the heat...

Dolphin House used to be called Groot Geluk until this year. The main house is a kitchen/living room area with one bedroom and bath. Cute and cozy equals small. The other house is essentially a bedroom about 100 feet away from the main house. The pool is between the two houses, but I don't think that you can walk out to the pool from the main house deck. I think you take steps down from the main house and then up to a small pool surrounding deck. You definitely do not have direct access from the second bedroom.
The beach is a 3 to 5 minute drive. You can see the sea from the decks.
There is a chain link fence surrounding the property.

Thanks - that's really helpful.
Can see why they changed the name - if you're not Dutch it doesn't sound so good!
