Do we have enough time between our Antigua and St. Kitts flight?
We're arriving in Antigua at 2:30pm on a Delta flight. Then we have a Liat flight at 4:45pm to St. Kitts. We're experienced travelers and will be able to expedite the process as much as possible, but we're not familiar with customs/immigration in Antigua or check in with Liat. Any information would be great! Thanks!

I have taken that Delta flight--(took it last month and it actually arrived a bit early, immigration was about a 25 minute wait -- got baggage, cleared customs, got a rental car, and arrived at our resort a half hour away by 4 p.m.) I think you have plenty of time, barring any significant delays to your incoming flight which is always a possibility anyway. Your bigger challenge may be if you are connecting to that flight in the Atlanta airport, with an hour, 15 connection time we had a real nailbiter on that leg of the trip due to having to circle above Atlanta. Since there's only one flight a day we knew we would be spending an overnight in Atlanta if we missed it.

One more thing, if you end up with plenty of time and you are starving, (we always are, it is a four hour flight and all you get is a packet of cookies or peanuts)right outside the terminal are two decent food options -- there are little or no options inside the terminal. Out the front door, straight ahead, is a decent sandwich shop/bakery. It's right there as part of the airport but if you stayed in the terminal you'd never know it was there. Also, out the front door, across the airport green to the left are the cricket grounds and I understand there's a nice pub-type restaurant on site. That's only a five minute walk. Have a great trip!

Assuming your flight arrives on time, I agree with Eileen that you'll have enough time to make your connecting flight. The two food options that Eileen mentions are both good, with the Sticky Wicket being air conditioned and more expensive. But if you don't feel comfortable walking outside the airport, there is a small snack stand/bar where you can get a hot dog or empanada or something to drink as well as a vendor selling candies and nuts, some of which are packaged locally, both of which are inside the terminal in the Antigua airport.
