We're considering a trip to St. Kitts in November to go diving. Looking for people that have been there to dive. Where did you stay and what dive shop did you use? Any feedback? How are the beaches?

Fran--my husband and I loved St. Kitts. We did not dive there, however. I don't think it is noted for that. The beaches are salt and pepper, so if you are looking for pure white sand, this is not the island for you. The people are its greatest asset--so friendly and welcoming, They invited us into their houses on two occasions which was a treat. We stayed at the Golden Lemon--divine--Arthur Leaman is a wonderful host not to mention the beautiful rooms and grounds. It is worth a lunch at least. Rawlins Plantation is also worth a lunch--not on the beach, but gives you a glimpse into what life was like on a sugar plantation. I do want to go back--Basseterre is charming--also you can take a day trip to Nevis and case that island. I envy you!
