Dec 10 to 16 Ritz in Maui, how is the weather in Kapuala area?

We will be in Maui from Dec 10 to 16. Should we stay at the Ritz or Kea Lani? We are wishing for beautiful grounds,scenery good service, clean room and gourmet food. I read some reviews regards to Ritz in Kapaula and it can get rain and windy. Do you think, in December, Ritz loaction can be windy and rainny or not? Thank you
