We stayed at Coral Cliffs in November '98 and had
a wonderful time. Coral Cliffs Resort is
off the beaten tracks, about 45 minutes away
from town. We rented a car. We had a
GORGEOUS room and there were only 2 other couples
when we were there. The only negative that I
have about Curacao is that the beaches are
very very rocky, so take water shoes. We had some dinners there and it was delightful. Compared to
the other resorts in Curacao, I would highly recommend Coral Cliffs. By the way, they have beach where you can go nude. People were lovely. We also went into town and surrounding areas and ate dinners at various restaurants, including a local one. I was not too thrilled with their shopping area as, although it had many, many, stores, I did not find them appealing, although of course, we spent money. Don't forget to walk the "Floating Bridge"...If you want any further infos..please e-mail me. By the way, we also just this June came back from Eleuthera, one of the outer-islands of the Bahamas, which was FANTASTIC if you want peace, quiet and
solitude! Have fun and enjoy....

Dear John: I forget to mention about Coral Cliffs that we had the Jr. Suite that is why it was so lovely because it was newly renovated. Coral Cliffs resort is always in the process of being renovated. It also has very very old rooms and the resort is in the process of building private time-share condos/apartments on their premises. Coral Cliffs, I understand, has been in existance for many, many years and always in repair. The people that we hung out with and met were there to "dive" and they have been coming back there for many years. Don't forget those water booties....
