Curacao times 2

Having visited Curacao last year, is it worth a second visit?

Interesting question. If you have visited Curacao before would you not then be the best person to reflect on your experience and figure out whether it is worth a second visit.

In general my motto is to not revisit an island unless we absolutely fall in love with it the first time around. Too many other places to see/experience. Having said that we have revisited several of the Bahama out island (Eleuthera, Long Island, Abacos), Anguilla, Grand Cayman and will revisit Virgin Gorda in the near future. We have been to Curacao and while we enjoyed the island its not a place I'd re-visit.

My first reaction to this question is, how would anyone know if nobody has a clue whether you liked your trip there or not?

No right or wrong answer here. It totally depends on what you and those who travel with like to experience on a vacation trip, how many other places are on your bucket list and dozens of other factors.

Let’s say you really like Curacao and let’s say you also visited 5 other Caribbean islands. Of those, you like 1 about the same a Curacao, 1 you liked better, 2 you enjoyed but not quite as much as Curacao and 1 you did not like at all. Now, if you include the Bahamas Out-islands there are over 800 islands in the Caribbean. Some you might love, others you might like and others you’ll dislike. So your decision comes down to do you want to revisit an island you liked or do you want a completely new experience? Only you know the answer to that question.
