For those who have not been to Curacao I suggest they do a search and from veloduurt't comments as well as mine and others it really is a lovely island unless one is looking for an active night life. That does not mean restaurants because IMO there are 6-7 very good places for dinner and the snorkeling on the WEST END is better than many other islands.W are returning for our fourth visit in mid-Nov. just past the somewhat windy season.
I know this is an old post but your pictures are amazing and really enjoyed your trip report. We are only going to be there one day on a cruise and was looking for a good snorkeling beach. I do have to say I am kind of nervous now though with all the eels, snake, octopus, stingrays etc. Very cool to look at though.
