By far, the best site on the Web for CUBA TRAVEL SPECIFICS (and ONLY about Cuba), is the non-commercial "Share Your Cuban Experience" website. There, you can ask relevant questions about where to go, what to do & see, and more - from experienced & helpful fellow travelers.
Please, NO POLITICAL TRASH TALK in the Travel Section. It also helps to FIRST read older posts & a guidebook (like MOON's )for a basic understanding …
I also post a 'LONG LIST of Cuba-Themed WEBSITES' - 14 pages - that has almost all you need to know before you go : you can find the LINK there.

Sir, I am planning a trip to Havana in a few days and simply wish to know about good, reasonablly priced "home cooking" and budget accomadations with "home folk" that is located in the "Old City. I have never been, have no axe to grind, and look forward to seeing what I feel is a beautiful city with warm people and great music. YOur help would be most appreciated. I await your reply.
