Cuba holguin to Guardalavaca

I paid 35 CUC for a private taxi from Holguin to Guardalavaca (info from 3 Casa Particulars) . I am told by Cubans that is a good price. We had to pass a checkpoint just outside Guaralavaca, where the taxi diver can be fined for private enterprise. I was told not to make eye contact with the checkpoint staff.

Act ignorant and hopefully the taxi driver will not be prosecuted.
