I noticed an ad in the New York Times featuring West Indies Cruises' sailings to Cuba. After visiting the web site www.cruisehavana.com, I learned about the fully hosted program bringing Americans legally to Cuba. I would like to go, but would like to hear back from anybody who has been to Havana. And is the cruisehavana.com site with its walking tours giving an accurate view of Havana?

I have been to Cuba twice. I am on the Board of Directors of an organization which takes people to Cuba legally - Global Exchange (www.globalexchange.org). We call them Reality Tours and you are guaranteed to fall in love with the people and the places. Cuba is like no other place. The people, the music the mojitos! It is all good.
I have done a walking tour of old Havana with one of the city architects. I was truly in awe. I think you will be, too.
