Cost of taxi ride Montego Bay to Ochos Rios

We're going to Jamaica next weekend and was wondering what we should expect to pay for a cab from Montego Bay's airport to Ochos Rios or should we try to arrange transport with the hotel. Thanks

Either way I'd suggest you pre-arrange your transportion. (don't just take a cab from the airport w/out prior arrangements) Call your hotel and ask them to send a driver for you or arrange something. If you have a private car and driver I think you could expect to pay around $100.00 US. At least I think that sounds about right from my experiences. I't every bit of a 90 min ride from Mobay to Ochi. Gas is VERY expensive there too.

We used his firm to travel from Negril to Ochoc Rios and paid $80 (twice as far as MBJ to Ocho Rios) we also used him from OR to MBJ but I'm sorry I can't remember the rate

He charged less than both of the hotels we stayed at quoted for the trips - for example our hotel in Negril quoted $150 for the trip to OR.
