Coming from St. Lucia & Hotels to Stay?

We're thinking of going to St. Barths for 3 or 4 nights after our time in St. Lucia for our honeymoon. Is this possible to take some type of inter-island flight? Also, it would be in the very end of Oct. and is St. Barths deserted considering it's the tale end of hurricane season.
Also, what hotels would you recommend staying at as my friends have always stayed at villas. Below is what we're thinking:

less than $500 a night, romantic, charming, can be funky, great location
