I am curious what is recommended, we are staying at the Divi Flamingo for 7 days and I am a coffee lover. I have not heard back from the hotel if they provide a coffee maker, do most of you pack coffee/filters/mini coffee maker or are you running out every morning? Also, recommendations on where to go for a good cup of Java?
Can't wait we depart in 30 days! Ya-hoo!

Mare, go to "Bonaire Talk". I know I have read about good places to get good coffee, but since we always get a place with a kitchen, I don't remember. They will anwer your question, and they will know if there is a coffee maker at Divi. Is this the first time to Bonaire? Owa
I always travel with several Folger's "Coffee Singles, Classic Roast" packets. I am a Starbuck's drinker, but this stuff does the trick (it must be full of caffeine) and helps get me up in the morning. All you need to find is some hot water - they are packaged like tea bags. I first encountered these at Parrot Cay, in the Turks and Caicos.
Thank you both for your response. Yes,Owa this is our first time. Simply cannot wait. The coffee singles is a good idea (how to heat the water?)..
Much appreciated
Mare
Marilyn, I went back and looked at your other posts. Are you flying Aruba-Curacao-Bonaire? That is what we are doing this fall.
I would rent a pick-up for your full stay. We really enjoyed Bonaire the first time.
Please write a review when you return. Have a great time. Owa
In a pinch, I've used hot tap water for my coffee bags. Also have a serious coffee addiction!
Owa - we are flying into Aruba to catch a flight to Bonaire for 7 days, Curacao for 4 and then finally Aruba for 3-4 days. Yes, I will write a trip report!
Thanks again
Mare
