My friend and I are in our late 20's and looking for a social place with convenience. We'd prefer not to tip over little kids ![]()
Right now it's between Club Med Turkoise on Turks & Caicos and Barbados. Please advise.

ahhh jed people do hate it when you tip over their children.
provo is a great island. club med allows no one under 18. they have a good beach. the island is known for diving, bonefishing and snorkeling.
have not been on barbados but would advise looking for a hotel near 'the gap' - it's the happening place.
barbados is a wonderfully
Other than the happenings at CM, there isnt as much to do in provo as there is in say the st lawrence gap area of barbados. If you time it right, there shouldn't be tons of kids.
Peace, Greenie
Once you visit Barbados outside of school holidays, you won't have a problem being overrun by kids. Otherwise there is lots to do on the island, especially for young people, and definitely stay in or near The Gap, then you can walk to so much. You might find this site useful

Club Med on Turks is great depending on time of year. The one thing to remember about it is there is not much to do on the island aside from staying on the Club Med grounds. So if the Club Med doesn't have all the singles you are looking for, you are stuck. No kids though, great beach, awesome snorkeling/scuba.
