Choosing the best island for Honeymoon

Hi, I would like to ask all people on this forum some suggestions on the best islands.

At the moment, we have listed BVI, Anguilla, and T&C because we have see some pictures. But we have not any experience with caribbean islands, therefore we are open to any suggestions and opinions.

Below, I list what it is important for us:

1) Very turquese water
2) Calm sea
3) Very white sand
4) Not crowded
5) We like to stay in an apartment, therefore for us it is not important to have dining, resorts, all inclusive. We like to visit grocery and fish markets.
6) Quite islands, we do not need nightlife. We are a very tranquil couple of 30s who just love to stay on the beach, cook for ourself, and stay at home in the night.

Many thanks!

Rudy

Look at any of the many beachfront "condo resorts" on Grace Bay on the island of Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos. Grace. Bay has 11 miles of what is arguably some of the whitest sand and brightest turquoise blue waters in the Caribbean. The island will fit your requirements perfectly. Start by looking at Grace Bay Club, Ocean Club or Ocean Club West. If those don't fit your needs there are plenty of other similar places.

Anguilla will also tick all your boxes. Look at Shoal Bay Villas for starters.

We forgot to say we would like to avoid fancy and expensive spots. Anyway, thanks for the first reply.

It would be helpful to know your total budget for this trip.

Also, define what you mean by "fancy".

FYI - condos, by definition, aren't necessarily fancy and the come in many price ranges so not all of them will be "expensive" (of course, that could depend on your definition of "expensive").

TCI is a good fit for you, but can be very expensive. Don't even bother looking at Grace Bay Club!

Check out the two OCEAN CLUB properties, THE SANDS, and ROYAL WEST INDIES, though I don't think those units come w/kitchens.

Would you consider renting a villa?

Sorry! Posted before I finished comment. There are some private homes to rent - within walking distance or short ride to the beach - that might fit most of your list. Are those of interest?

Based on your criteria the Bahama out islands would be a great match. Perfect for self catering folks looking for secluded stunning beaches. To start I would look at Eleuthera (VRBO or Homeaway). You should find tons of homes right on the beach. There are plenty of restaurants if you like to dine out as well and fairly decently stocked grocery stores (not up to US standards) and fish is sold at the village dock. Renting a car is a must but there is only one main road that crosses the whole island so not a big deal. Other Bahama out islands that may fit the bill are Long Island and Great Exuma. Anguilla is more high end with beautiful beaches. The rentals will be more expensive.

So much for punctuation.I meant that I think the units at ROYAL WEST INDIES don't come w/ kitchens.
