Casual, elegant resort in St. Barts

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are planning a romantic vacation in St. Barts and can't decide where to stay. We are looking for a small, unique, casually, elegant resort with nice scenery and quiet location. Friendly, laid back atmosphere. Not overun by kids or young 20 somethings (I am 36 and my husbany is 52). Being on the beach is not necessary, but would like to have a nice view. Le Toiny is just above our price range. Any recommendations for a nice resort aside from Le Toiny? How does Carl Gustav, Guanahani, Hotel Isle de France and Francois Plantation stack up. Any favorites?
