I've started one debate on the best lobster. What the heck lets see what people have to say about the best Jerk...

I have heard it is Best in the West.

I vote for the Jerk Chicken at Jus Cheers in St. Anns Bay Jamaica. Great food, company and..........well the best part it you have to go to Jamaica to get it !!!

Boston Bay, the home of the original jerk pork/chicken/whatever, just outside Port Antonio, Jamaica with Scotchies outside MoBay a good runner-up.

i didn't care for best in the west in negril...maybe i caught an off day

i do like debuss or bourbon beach's jerk chicken and ossie's jerk pork both in negril

Boston bay is by far the best. I lived in Jamaica for 3 years in the Peace Corp, nothing compares. Every time I go back for a visit, I bring a gallon of jerk sauce back with me. Takes a while to get there, especially with the road not yet completed to Port Antonio, but if you like jerk style they are great.

liza, Are you talking about the Granny Sauce at 3 Dives? That stuff is great. We bought some to bring home. It came in a recycled water bottle. Still have some left. Definitely has some kick to it.

I liked Scoties better then Boston Bay. I know most people disagree but the chicken had more flavor and the pork was not as fatty.

LOL! My vote is for best jerk chicken 3 Dives on the Negril cliffs also. We also brought some of that granny sauce to take home. (It didn't last very long.)

3 Dives makes great lobster also. Also "Office of Nature" (in Bloddy Bay) for lobster too.
