Caribbean Weather in September

I'm contemplating a trip to St Thomas in late Sept. Can anyone tell me how rainy it gets? How much sun there is? Thanks!

In Sept. you always run the risk of a hurricane. Rainy season for STT is Aug-Oct.

You are really taking a chance traveling at that time of the year. I used to live in the U.S. Virgin Islands and sometimes it would be overcast and rainy
for over a week. I lived on St. Croix, but did go to St. Thomas to shop on a sea plane. It is not one of my favorite places especially when the cruise ships are in port. You would be better traveling any months except September and October. Any predictions would be a guess, but that is usually when they have the most rain during the year.

Barbados, Aruba and Curacao, are south of the typical hurricane path - you might want to consider one of these islands instead.

I agree with Jean and Cathy. September is not a good
month. Alot of rain is the least of your worries.
Very strong winds are a little scarier. The places
listed by Cathy are right on target for exactly the reason suggested. Barbados is my personal favorite.
