Caribbean Heat,Humidity, and Mosquitoes?!
I have heard Aruba has fewer mosquitoes and less humidity because of the trade winds. I read the USVI has a major problem with mosquitoes. So my question is: What island(s) have the least mosquitoes? Which island(s) are the least humid? Which islands are in the trade winds? Is the Bahamas as humid as Florida?
Thanks so much. This is really going to help us plan our vacation!

weather2travel.com climate guides
The windward side of DRY islands like Aruba
will generally have less Mozzies but will still
have some lots worse in rainy season.
Hyatt Eagle Palm beach my fav there.
Do review mdtravelhealth.com for insect precautions
cutteradvanced.com is a nice DEET free product I use.
Happy Planning!

Mosquitos are usually in direct relation to how much recent rain there has been. And it's the tropics, so yes, it will be hot and humid. I personally find that the constant breezes make it more comfortable in the Caribbean than in much of the US during the summer months, but your miles may vary.
