My husband and I are searching for an adult vacation at a peaceful upscale resort. Great service, nice beach, and great food are high on our list. Does anyone have any experience with this resort? I would hate to sacrifice service and food quality, and would consider a different destination if that's the case. I noticed the top ranking hotel on tripadvisor (Cuisn...something..sorry!) appeared to have more dated rooms... Thanks!
Cap Juluca..to go or not to go?

Cap Juluca is a great upscale resort on a fabulous white sand beach. They recently began updating all the rooms so depending on when you go all of them may be finished. The resort has one of the best restaurants on the island but I wouldn't limit yourself to dining there every night. The island boasts over 80 different restaurants many of which are among the best in the Caribbean so if fine beaches (there are 35 of them on the island) and great food are a priority than Anguilla is the island for you.
The "other" resort you are talking about is Cuisinart - it's similar in ambience to Cap Juluca.
Lastly, you might consider staying at Eden Roc on St. Barth's - there are hundreds of fantastic restaurants on that island.
not sure i understand your statement about sacrificing service and food quality.Anguilla is known for service and food quality. Cap Juluca is one of the finest, highest ranking resorts in all the Caribbean. It is perfect for couples-- not many kids at the resort (cuisinart in my experience is more family friendly). our time at CJ was one of our best vacations ever. the food on island is outstanding.
I love Anguilla, and CJ is my favorite hotel. The beach is magnificent, the staff are wonderful, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. Cuisinart is also pretty and I have friends who love it, but I feel it is less private, and Cap has more charm and style (and a nicer beach)
