Aman resorts is probably the best small chain of hotels anywhere, and this hotel is said to the their best one yet. A very high level of comfort, service and food. Please know however, it is very isolated with not much around it

I have been to all: (Cap Jaluca, Somerset, Regent Palms, Amanyara, Parrot Cay, Grace Bay Club, Point Grace.) what can I say, I get around. All are fine choices, all are close to each other in upscale. Each has it's own personality. Palms is more like Cuisinart-see and be seen "chic" crowd. It is the most crowded of your choices. Grace Bay Club feels like a Four Seasons/Ritz, and will also be more crowded than the rest. Amanyara is like Asia on an isolated beach. Very nice resort, but far (and expensive) to go to other restaurants. Compared to other restaraunts, Amanyara's is lacking (definately not on Anguilla standards in my opinion.) Point Grace is very quiet, nice. Parrot Cay is special, but again, on it's own island and only 2 restaurants that belong to the resort. I am a T&C "expert" (according to Tripadvisor) and write for Fodor's, so I've been lucky enough to stay at all the different resorts. I will tell you again: My dream trip would be a Parrot Cay / Somerset split. It would be incredible. Of your choices, Somerset is my personal favorite.

We go to Anguilla every year and revisited Provo this winter. If you like CJ, I would recommend the Palms--that's the counterpart--with Point Grace closer to Mali. Parrot Cay is too off the beaten path. One of the benefits of staying on Provo is the benefit of dining at other places--just like you might if you stay at CJ. Amanyara is too isolated--haven't stayed there but have walked the beach & wondered about its appeal.
