Cap Jaluca's Villa w/ private pool?

Has anyone stayed in one of Cap Jaluca villa with a private pool. The web pictures look awsome. I know the propety had much damage from the last hurricane and they were closed for remodeling several months. Are the villas a result of the remodeling because they look new?

The hurricane is long gone and the hotel is better than ever. The pool villas are spectacular, we stayed in one a few years ago. Just got back form Anguilla and CJ, it gets better ann better!

Thanks Penny,
Since I've never been to Cap, could you give me an idea of the room layout? i.e. where are the villa pool rooms in relation to the other rooms. And, are they REALLY private? Also, are they as pretty as the photos? In ordered to be guaranteed a pool villa, would you suggest making that my reservation or waiting to arrive in hopes they upgrade us?
Thanks.

Kim the pool villas are at the far west end. They are almost like a private apartment. The courtyard pool is very private with a wall around it, its wonderful, they are the upper floor of a 2 floor villa, just in case you want to rent the whole villa with 3-4 rooms! If you want one then book it, upgrades doubt it! The hotel is very popular, and that is the very top end of the scale! All the rooms are very nice, not a bad room in the house!

I had a question related to this... I am looking at the pool suites instead of the pool villas because they are out of my price range. Does anyone know where the pool suite is in terms of the other suites in the building? Is the pool area really private, as in others can't see you?

All the suites/rooms are in villas. All the pool suites are at the west end of the property. I believe they are Villas 13-18. We looked at a 1 bedroom pool suite when we were there in July. It is in a villa with other suites, but the pool area was totally private. Anyone else staying in the villa did not have access to the pool. I hope this helps. By the way, the pool suite was fabulous!
