Brisas Guardalavaca

Jump to last reply

I am going to this resort in Guardalavaca in a little over three weeks and I was wondering if anyone has been there. I am curious if it is a "fun" resort. About 20 of us are going and we are all in our late 20's or early 30's. Will there be other young people there? We plan to party the whole time.

Hi, I've just returned from Cuba today, it's a long hual back to the UK!

The hotel was great, everything you could want, 24 hour drinking, choice of food.

I'd read somewhere that it had a man made beach, but I wouldn't have noticed, it had sand, sea, drinks near, watersports, enough for us.

I don't know if you'll have a totally wild time but the entertainment team (my favourites were Frank and Jordi) were just great and we enjoyed ourselves totally.

There is music during the day at various times, best tan competition, and other stuff only if you want to take part. The house band is on everynight at 8.30 then the team put on a show. One night it was Aladdin, another Romeo and Juliet, all played for laughs and very funny.

There is a disco which starts at 11.00 but I didn't investigate that. Drinks are included at the disco too.

There isn't very much more at the place than around 4 hotels along the beach and a local village which didn't seem to have anything. If you walk along the beach there are a few beach bars where the locals play very loud music and dance. There's a craft market during the day too.

There were some families at the resort, few oldies, but quite a few young couples. Apparently it was low season when we visited and the hotel wasn't even half full.

Hope this is someway helpful. Let me know if I can help with any other points.
