Hello,
A group of couples are planning a trip to Curacao in June. I've read mixed reviews for the Breezes resort. Has anyone stayed recently?
Specifically, how is the beach, food, bar/drinks?
Thanks for your help!

I'd be careful on this one. You're right to be concerned. We stayed at the Sea Aquarium Villas, just down the beach and loved it. About $1300 for the week, condo with two master bedrooms and baths right on the sea. While we didn't go inside Beaches and this was the better part of a year ago, we heard a ton of people in the airport when we were leaving commisserating with one another about how terrible the hotel was. Didn't hear even one positive response.
I was ion Curacao in November and met another couple that called their travel agent and were moved from Breezes to the Marriott (both were all inclusive's) becasue the food at Breezes was horrible, the bathrooms smelled musty and there were not many activities to participate in.
We loved the Marriott. The food was wonderful, the staff very friendly and courtious and the rooms were clean and modern. They offer a Total Escape Package, which is their form of an AI.
Good luck planning!
