Breezes Curacao - anyone been?

We are lloking at Breezes Curacao for Christmas week 2005 with 16 & 13 year old boys.

Has anyone been there lately or heard anything about it? The price seems almost too good to be true.

Comments would be greatly appreciated quickly as they are holding a reservation for me for 3 days.

Thanks

Sept. and October are a problem, somewhat like Aruba. After mid-Nov to late April no problem and warm temps. June-Sept a bit too hot for us.

We were there in March. It was just OK. Food was typical of an all inclusive resort. The property is very small and located in a weird area. The beach is not a typical beautiful Caribbean beach...and it is very rocky. We had a great time but will probably never go back there.

You might try the Marriot. We traveled with 3 kids-Christmas week and truly enjoyed it. We put the kids in a "partial OV" room and it had a lovely view. This might help keep price lower. Have you priced airfaire?
From where we live rates are pretty terrible.

when we stayed at Lions Dive (close by) we were told by those staying at Breezes that the local kids were allowed to use the facilities and that they overrun the place which detracted from the experience

I loveds the resort for my husband and I. I would not take my children. I did not see any activites that would have your children's attention for a long peroid of time. I found the location to be more romantic than fun
