    Hi Kathy,
My boyfriend and I, (Canadians), spent a week there in mid April and had a great time...the resort being brand new is equipped nicely, and the staff are amazing. The food is really good as well. There are 3 a la carte restaurants onsite as well as the buffet.
There is a gift shop on site that sells the same coffee as the dining room offers, (we brought home 3 lbs!), and cigars/rum, etc....good value pricing as well.
They offer mopeds for 8.00 usd/hr, and lots of "toys" to keep you busy. We spent most of our time lounging on the beach, or enjoying a drink at the swim up bar, observing the daily bingo game.
By the end of the week, you couldn't get a seat there! It was a howl...
If you can, take advantage of the day trips that are offered, so that you can experience some of the real Cuba. The people there were so kind and polite, and if you said you enjoyed yourself, their faces just lit up. They are very proud. We did a day trip through Cda 3000, "Fantastico", that visited a number of places, and ended up at the local aquarium, (had to go by boat, as it is a penned area in a lagoon), and swam with the dolphins!
The greatest thing I have done so far!!!
I have no reservations in recommending this site for you at all.
    K.
