Hi - we are off to our first trip to Bonaire in March. We have flights with AA Boston to San Juan to Bonaire. The connection in San Juan is 1 hour 20 min. Any thoughts from those that have done this - would appreciate knowing your experiences. The earlier flight would leave us with a four hour plus connection. Thanks, sue
Boston to BON-is this connection ok?

I've not done that actual connection but have flown AA/AE to several other Caribbean islands connecting through SJU numerous times and a 1 hour 20 minute connection on AA/AE is very doable. FYI - most of my connecting times have been between 45 and 60 minutes and I've never encountered a problem. One hint, if you are checking luggage make sure it is checked all the way through to Bonaire.
