I wouldn't go in September, but if you must, make sure you get travel insurance!
can you give us a bit more info. specifically what is your hotel budget? what do you enjoy doing on vacation (prefer beach time with a book or ziplining? - early to bed or out dancing or gambling
. do you want to dive or snorkel? will you consider non ai? are you picturing a lush hilly island or more arid with gorgeous white sand beaches? also what is your departure airport & how much time are you willing to spend in transit? do you have reservations/concerns about mexico or jamaica? - some ppl choose to avoid these.
Leaving from RDU, would spend up to $4500...enjoy relaxation versus ziplining...and snorkeling is an absolute must!
