Hi, Any information to help me decide where to go would be great. Thinking aboutProvo and Bonaire. Looking for excellent snorkeling in an untouristy place and trying to keep costs down. My favorite islands so far have been BVIs and St. John. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Boaire or Provo for good snorkeling??

Bonaire has more snorkel spots than Provo. Provo has Smiths Cove and White House (Bight) Reef. There is also some excellent snorkeling from a boat. Bonaire has many off shore spots and the Marine Park and Klein Bonaire. The beaches are far superior in Provo. IMHO there is more to see in Bonaire.
Both are easy to get around, the people are nice and they have great restaurants. Neither island is a shopping haven. If you have any specific questions, email me..this is my REAL address!
We were in Bonaire in Jan for a week - snorkling was very good.
