Going to stay in Blue Horizons in May and want to know if there is any bars we can walk to ( safely) on a night or will we have to get a taxi to places. We know there is not a big 'nightlife' scene but like to chill out on a night with a couple of rum punches!!!

Blue Horizons on Grenada? Or another island?
If Grenada, you're in a great spot--a very short walk to the Owl, a sports bar at Flamboyant. You're across the street from Spice Island beach resort, which should have entertainment twice a week in the offseason (and you'll have guest privileges there staying at BH).
There's a nightclub right next to the GEM beach motel, which would be an arduous walk up and down a hill, but not very far. Easy taxi ride. True Blue has live music as least one night a week--they offer complimentary transfers, at least one way if not round trip, with dinner.
