So far, the best My wife & I have experienced was Grand Cayman. Other islands that we have been to include: Aruba, St Kitts, St Lucia where the snorkeling was good, but just doesn't compare to Grand Cayman which blew us away.<BR><BR>We have read about, and heard from others that St John is also one of the better destinations for snorkeling from the beach, it's on the list for next vacations!!

Best we have seen in terms of beach and snorkeling from the shore is Turks and Caicos. Just incredible!

Have been to all the places already mentioned. Best snorkeling hands down....BONAIRE. 99% is from the beach.

I've been all over the Caribbean. We also spent 2 summers island hopping. Grand Cayman is good but Turks and Caicos is out of this world. It's about as pricy as Grand Cayman.

Best place we've ever snorkeled and dived has to be Belize. The longest barrier reef in the western hemisphere is located here. Beach snorkeling does exist at some of the outer cayes, but in most places a boat ride is required.
