Best routing to Mustique?

I assume the most convenient would be via St. Vincent, but not many airlines fly there. Between Barbados & Grenada, which is the most efficient/economical choice? Coming from the West Coast, it will be a long long trip either way. I am trying to determine a good routing so I can find out how far along my FF miles will get me Thanks.

You don't have to fly via St. Vincent. It is normally quickest to fly to Barbados. From there, you can fly direct to Mustique using Mustique Airways or SVG Air (essentially the same companies since they have an operating partnership and share facilities. Go to www.mustique.com.

Alternately, you could fly AA to San Juan, American Eagle to St. Vincent and Mustique Airways or SVG to Mustique.

whoops - correction - I forgot that american eagle no longer flies flies from PR to St. Vincent but just to Canouan (there was some issue about the length of the St. Vincent airstrip). From Canouan you would have to take Mustique Airways or SVG Air to Mustique. Not very efficient...I vote for routing via Barbados.
