Any recommendations for the best plantation type inn on St. Kitts or Nevis for a week vacation? Thirty something couple looking for something elegent but not stuffy, low key and quiet. Will probably want to golf a few times on either island and maybe take a hike or two but other than that just relax by the beach or pool. Don't like large, chain resorts
Thank You!

Definitely Nisbet on Nevis or Ottleys on Stk. They are both beautiful and relaxed, not stuffy at all. I would still pick Nisbet over Ottleys though, because it is on the beach. If you want to email me privately, I would be happy to send you some pictures I have.

We enjoyed our stay at the Golden Lemon in St. Kitts a couple of years ago. They have good multi-night packages which include meals, transportation and some low-key sightseeing as well as the room. The inn is lovely, right on the beach, and has excellent cuisine.
My husband and I would highly recommend Ottley's on St. Kitts, although from what I have seen and heard, Nisbet would also be a great place to stay.
Ottley's is a little more secluded, quiet, and oh so relaxing. they have a gorgeous setting, beautiful pool, and their own rainforest to hike in. If you want to go to the beach or go golfing, they are happy to make arrangements to get you there. If you would like to contact me directly with questions, I would be happy to share info and pictures from our trip. Both islands are beautiful and quite safe for travellers. Good luck on your plans!
