Best island for a 4 night stay in winter?
looking for a good combination of the least travel time from NY/PHL area, warm weather, and value in the december / january timeframe.
enjoyed the bahamas and puerto rico but would be up for somewhere else. mostly a place to lounge by the pool, enjoy some restaurants and wind down. I'm just overwhelmed by options.

There is so much to do in Jamaica, including laying around on some pristine beaches. Surely if you enjoyed PR and the Bahamas, you will enjoy the wonderful island of Jamaica. There is no comparision.

Hi Virginia, sorry, but Continental flight time from Newark to St Martin is NOT over 5 hours. The SCHEDULED time from Newark is 4 hours and 11 minutes, and the 7.50am flight is almost always early !! I take it regularly when returning home to the island from the US.
