Best island and resort for singles in late 30s
Hi there
I have a package to stay at any Elite Island Resorts and need any recommendations on which would be the best for a few single women in their late 30s to vacation at. We're looking for a nice beach, interesting things to do during the day (shopping, sightseeing, water sports), good food and fun in the evening (doesn't need to a big party, but would rather not be surrounded by honeymooning couples!).
I called Elite Island Resorts and they have recommended the following two properties:
1) St James Club, Antigua
2) St James Club Morgan Bay, St Lucia
Does anyone have any insights into either of these properties/islands and recommendations on which one my friends and I should stay at?
Thanks!

Hi Amanda_KiwiGirl,
I can't speak for Antigua since I've never been, but St. Lucia is absolutely beautiful. I stayed up north at Cap Maison which is gorgeous, but quiet. However, it was only 1 1/2 miles from Rodney Bay which has somewhat of a night life. Fun bars and restaurants to visit all nights of the week. You might be a bit further, but I would ask the hotel about transportation to Rodney Bay from the hotel. But it looks like you are in a fairly central location of the island where you can visit up north or south from where you are. We did a great day on a boat that was a mix of partying and snorkeling while seeing the Pitons. Such a gorgeous place that you and your friends will never be bored!
